AIML Natural Language Platform Engineer

As a member of the Siri Natural Language team at Apple, you will play a key part in the next revolution in human-computer interaction. Our goal is to take Siri to the next level of intelligence and accuracy in natural language understanding.
Key Responsibilities
Design and implement low latency Siri NLU on-device, taking machine learning model inference algorithms into production. Collaborate with cross-functional engineering teams to resolve issues, utilizing excellent communication skills. Experience developing in C++ and Python is required, as well as a strong understanding of algorithms and software design. Additionally, experience working on CI/CD pipelines and optimizing system performance to improve end user experience is a plus.
Requirements
A Master's degree in Computer Science, or a Bachelor's degree with 3+ years experience is required. Experience with NLP or search engine is a plus, as well as experience building model release or validation pipelines. Benefits
At Apple, base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. This provides the opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role. The base pay range for this role is between $135,400 and $250,600, and your base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location. Apple employees also have the opportunity to become an Apple shareholder through participation in Apple's discretionary employee stock programs.
