About the Role

We're seeking a curious and innovative teammate who is passionate about using research and technology to deliver exceptional user experiences. As a member of our Siri Response Engineering team, you'll be responsible for building scalable products and services that empower different core functionalities of Siri Response.

Key Responsibilities

- Collaborate with fellow residents and Apple teams to develop high-impact projects
- Attend ML and AI courses to enhance your skills and knowledge
- Work on projects that combine machine learning research with next-generation hardware
- Publish in premier academic conferences

Requirements

- Proficiency in a programming language such as Python, Objective-C, C++, Swift, and/or R
- Experience completing a moderate-sized software project
- Demonstrated ability to connect and collaborate with others
- Graduate degree in a STEM field or equivalent industry experience in software engineering

Preferred Qualifications

- Academic, research, or proven experience in databases, large language models, machine learning, natural language processing, or software engineering
- Thesis, capstone project, internship, co-op, or industry experience in these fields
