Job Summary

AnewHealth is seeking a highly skilled Pharmacist to join our team in a Fulfillment Specialist role. As a key member of our pharmacy team, you will be responsible for ensuring accurate, efficient, and compliant medication distribution and fulfillment for patients.

Responsibilities
  • Ensure timely and accurate medication dispensing, including final approval and verification of prescriptions.
  • Oversee the operation of machines that sort, dispense, and label medications, and verify their results.
  • Plan, implement, and maintain procedures for mixing, packaging, and labeling pharmaceuticals, ensuring quality, security, and proper disposal.
  • Compound and dispense medications as prescribed by doctors and dentists, calculating, weighing, measuring, and mixing ingredients.
  • Prepare sterile solutions and infusions for use in facilities or patients' homes.
  • Ensure proper and compliant billing and record keeping of medications dispensed and shipped.
  • Oversee proper storage and security conditions for drugs, including ordering, labeling, and counting stock.
  • Supervise Pharmacy Technicians to ensure compliance with company and regulatory guidelines, quality, and efficiency of patient care.
  • Document patient care decisions and actions, as well as coding and billing, using proprietary software.
  • Provide reports and analysis to management as requested to monitor and improve patient care and center operations.
Requirements
  • BS in Pharmacy
  • Active NJ pharmacist license in good standing
  • 2+ years' experience in pharmacy distribution and packaging, with some exposure to geriatrics/chronic care preferred
