Job Summary:

The Trailer Technician will be responsible for the timely repair and maintenance of heavy-duty Class 7-8 trailers to ensure safe and efficient operation.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform repairs and preventative maintenance on heavy-duty trailers, dollies, and switchers.
  • Diagnose and repair issues with anti-lock brakes, wheel end components, electrical systems, and brakes.
  • Prepare vehicle records and report on a computer.
  • Perform safety inspections and prepare safety documentation.
  • Comply with all applicable laws and company policies.
Requirements:
  • At least 1-3 years of experience in vehicle maintenance or a diploma in auto or diesel technology.
  • Valid Driver's License (Class C).
  • Proficient computer skills, including Excel, Word, and Fleet Management Systems.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
