Job Title: Trailer Maintenance Technician

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Trailer Maintenance Technician to join our team at Western Flyer Xpress. As a key member of our maintenance department, you will be responsible for ensuring the safe and efficient operation of our trailers.

Responsibilities:

* Conduct regular inspections and diagnostic tests to identify worn and damaged parts
* Perform repairs and maintenance on trailers, including axles, brake components, suspension components, tires, wheels, electrical systems, and reefer units
* Verify vehicle performance by conducting test drives and adjusting systems
* Maintain accurate records of services and repairs performed
* Collaborate with the Service Manager and Parts Manager to enforce established parts processes and control tire spends

Requirements:

* 1+ year of experience in the diesel maintenance field
* High school diploma or equivalent required
* Ability to lift or carry 50lbs
* Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
* Excellent communication and teamwork skills
* Proficient in computer programs, including TMT and Bendix/Wabco
