Job Overview

Stewart Mechanical, Inc. is seeking an experienced Plumbing and HVAC estimator to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in commercial plumbing and HVAC, with expertise in design-build knowledge and estimating software.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Review project specifications and drawings to ensure accurate estimates.
  • Generate takeoffs using computer software estimating programs, with a thorough understanding of plumbing and pipefitting systems.
  • Manage bid invitations and prepare plumbing budgets.
  • Assemble full estimates for review by the chief estimator.
  • Write proposal letters and offer value engineering ideas.

Requirements:

  • 5+ years of commercial plumbing estimating experience.
  • Software certification for estimating.
  • Great verbal and written communication skills.
