Position Overview
CalWest Educators Placement is seeking a dedicated and experienced Part-Time Elementary Education Lead Instructor to join our client school in the Los Angeles area.
Essential Qualifications
- A Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent educational credentials as specified in the job requirements.
- Skills and competencies appropriate for the role.
- A reasonable commuting distance or a willingness to relocate.
- Authorization to live and work in the United States.
Preferred Qualifications
- A BA degree and teaching credential are advantageous but not mandatory.
- Ideal candidates should possess 2 or more years of successful lead teaching experience.
- Strong classroom management and instructional skills are essential.
- A solid foundation in teaching mathematics, literature, and writing processes is beneficial.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and execute instructional plans that foster engaging, purposeful, and collaborative learning experiences.
- Implement differentiated lessons tailored to meet the diverse needs of individual learners.
- Regularly communicate student progress with parents and students in a clear and constructive manner.
- Prepare report cards and formal progress updates.
- Maintain an organized and welcoming classroom environment that promotes student learning.
- Collaborate with colleagues during grade-level team meetings.
- Engage in ongoing professional development opportunities.
- Participate in supervisory duties as assigned by administration.
Compensation
The salary range for this part-time position is between $35,000 and $50,000.
