Job Description

As a Travel Speech Language Pathologist with beBee Professionals, you will have the opportunity to work with patients of all ages, assessing and treating speech, language, and swallowing disorders. Your expertise will play a crucial role in developing personalized treatment plans to improve communication abilities and collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to provide comprehensive patient care.

Responsibilities:

  • Assess patients with complex speech, language, and swallowing disorders using evidence-based assessments and standardized tests.
  • Design and implement individualized treatment plans to address communication goals and objectives.
  • Collaborate with speech-language pathologists, occupational therapists, physical therapists, and other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care.
  • Maintain accurate and detailed patient records, tracking progress throughout treatment and making adjustments as needed.
  • Educate patients and their families on strategies to improve communication, promoting independence and self-advocacy.

Required Skills and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited institution.
  • A current SLP license in the United States, with the ability to obtain licenses in additional states as required.
  • Experience working with pediatric and adult patients, preferably in a variety of healthcare settings.
  • Strong communication and organizational skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
