Clinical Director for Resident Care Services

About the RoleThis key position plays a vital role in ensuring the delivery of high-quality resident care services. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the nursing team, managing health and wellness programs, and coordinating care services for residents. This is an exciting opportunity for a seasoned healthcare professional to make a meaningful impact in the lives of our residents.
Responsibilities- Lead and manage the nursing team, promoting a culture of excellence and resident-centered care
- Develop and implement health and wellness programs that meet the unique needs of our residents
- Collaborate with physicians, pharmacists, and other healthcare providers to ensure seamless care coordination
- Conduct regular assessments and evaluations to identify areas for improvement and develop strategies for implementation
- Manage medication management programs, ensuring resident safety and compliance with regulations
- Participate in quality assurance and performance improvement initiatives, driving continuous quality improvement
- Foster a positive work environment, promoting teamwork, communication, and professional growth among staff members
- Graduate of an accredited college or school of nursing with a current state/provincial license as a professional Registered Nurse (RN)
- Minimum two (2) years RN experience with at least one (1) year experience in home health, assisted living, or long-term care environment preferred
- Minimum of one (1) year nursing management experience, including hiring, coaching, performance management, scheduling, and daily operations supervision
- Certified in CPR and First Aid
- Demonstrated knowledge of applied nursing practices, techniques, and methods in accordance with federal, state/provincial, and board of nursing requirements
- Competitive salary: $120,000 per annum
