UNC Health is seeking a highly skilled Radiology Technologist to join our team in Diagnostic Radiology. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional patient care and diagnostic imaging services.
Key Responsibilities- Perform diagnostic imaging procedures using various modalities, including X-ray, CT, and MRI.
- Operate and maintain imaging equipment, ensuring optimal performance and safety.
- Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to ensure accurate diagnoses and effective patient care.
- Develop and implement patient care plans, taking into account individual needs and medical histories.
- Provide education and support to patients and families, promoting health literacy and empowerment.
- Associate's degree or completion of an accredited Radiologic Sciences Program.
- Registered by the American Registry of Radiological Sciences or registry eligible and become registered within one (1) year from date of hire.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Provider certification.
- Experience in diagnostic imaging or a related field.
- Knowledge of radiation safety protocols and procedures.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
