Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Physiatrist to join our team at the VA Puget Sound Health Care System and the University of Washington Department of Rehabilitation Medicine. As a Physiatrist, you will have the opportunity to work in a multidisciplinary musculoskeletal program, collaborating with clinicians from other departments and a highly skilled rehabilitation staff to improve care and access to services locally and regionally.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide expert-level care to patients with musculoskeletal conditions, including spine and joint disorders.
  • Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to develop and implement treatment plans.
  • Conduct clinical evaluations and provide a broad range of spine intervention procedures.
  • Participate in education and research activities, including teaching fellows, residents, and medical students.
Requirements
  • MD or DO degree from an accredited program.
  • Completion of residency training in an accredited PM&R program.
  • Board Certification by the American Board of PM&R or eligibility for Board Certification.
  • Additional subspecialty board certification in pain medicine and/or sports medicine is highly desired.
