About the Opportunity

WSP is seeking a highly skilled Structures Representative to join our team in Antioch, California. As a key member of our Construction Management team, you will be responsible for providing technical leadership on complex projects and ensuring the highest quality of work.

Key Responsibilities
  • Review and inspect plans and calculations for falsework, shoring, staging, and bridge removal on City, County, Caltrans, and other State projects
  • Respond to and effectively resolve field construction issues
  • Conduct meetings between contractor, owner, utilities, and other project parties
  • Inspect, document, and coordinate field testing of construction materials
  • Analyze construction costs of changed conditions, draft change orders, and recommend claims dispositions
  • Prepare constructability reviews and reports
Requirements
  • BSCE or related degree
  • Current California PE license
  • Minimum of 10 years of experience, 5 of which are as a Structures Representative
  • Working knowledge of applicable codes, standards, and materials
  • Valid CA driver's license
  • Solid written and verbal skills
  • Proven track record of upholding workplace safety and ability to abide by WSP's health, safety, and drug/alcohol and harassment policies
