Position Overview


Virginia Mason Medical Center, part of CommonSpirit Health, is seeking a Board Eligible/Board Certified Hematologist - Medical Oncologist with a keen interest in Gastrointestinal (GI) oncology to enhance our expanding team.

Key Responsibilities

- Engage in a multi-disciplinary, hospital-based practice in a vibrant urban setting.

- Collaborate with a diverse cancer care team specializing in both GI and hematology.

- Participate in clinical research initiatives in partnership with the Benaroya Research Institute.

- Utilize 28 infusion chairs for chemotherapeutic and biologic treatments.

- Share weekend call responsibilities on a 1:9 rotation.

Qualifications

- Board Eligible/Board Certified in Hematology/Oncology.

- Demonstrated clinical interest in GI oncology is essential.

- A minimum of 2 years of relevant experience is preferred.

- Must be eligible for a medical professional license in the State of Washington.

- Ability to secure a DEA with full prescriptive authority is required for this role.
