Overview

Sinai Hospital of Baltimore, part of LifeBridge Health, is seeking a compassionate Registered Nurse I to join its Surgical Oncology Unit. This 29-bed unit specializes in providing care for patients with various oncology conditions, including solid tumors, orthopedic cancer, and hematologic cancers.

Job Summary: As a Registered Nurse I, you will be an integral part of the patient care team, providing safe and age-appropriate care to patients. Your expertise will be invaluable in developing strong assessment, intervention, and communication skills, while fostering relationships with patients and their families.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide high-quality patient care, adhering to established nursing standards and protocols.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized care plans.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records, ensuring seamless communication among healthcare professionals.
  • Participate in educational programs and training sessions to enhance professional growth and development.

Requirements:

  • Diploma or Associate's degree in Nursing from an accredited institution.
  • Less than one year of experience as a Registered Nurse.
  • Current licensure as a Registered Nurse in Maryland.
  • American Heart Association CPR certification.
