Job Summary

Key Responsibilities
  • Ensure the availability and performance of our IT systems, including servers, networks, and applications.
  • Implement and maintain security measures to protect our systems and data from cyber threats.
  • Develop and maintain system architecture and engineering documentation.
  • Research and implement new technologies to improve system performance and security.
  • Collaborate with the IT team to ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations.
  • Provide technical support and training to users.
  • Perform system backups and disaster recovery operations.
  • Monitor and troubleshoot system issues to ensure minimal downtime.
Requirements
  • 8+ years of experience in systems administration, with a focus on security and compliance.
  • Strong knowledge of Windows, RHEL, and other operating systems.
  • Experience with security tools, such as ACAS, SCAP, and Radix.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field.
  • Experience with change management processes.
  • Knowledge of industry standards and regulations, such as DoD 8500 series and NIST security requirements.
