Job Title: Tax Manager
Job Summary:
Jobot is seeking a highly skilled Tax Manager to join our team. As a key player in our clients organization, you will be responsible for managing and monitoring all tax-related activities. This role will allow you to showcase your expertise in tax planning, corporate tax, financial planning, and tax returns.
Responsibilities:
* Oversee all aspects of tax management, including tax planning, corporate tax, financial planning, and tax returns.
* Ensure compliance with all local, state, and federal tax regulations and legislation.
* Implement effective tax strategies that align with our business goals and optimize our tax position.
* Collaborate with various departments to provide tax advice and guidance on business decisions.
* Prepare and review complex tax returns and financial reports.
* Identify potential tax risks and develop mitigation strategies.
* Stay updated on the latest tax laws and regulations to ensure our business remains compliant and competitive.
* Provide leadership and guidance to junior members of the tax team.
Requirements:
* Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. Master's degree or CPA certification is highly desirable.
* Minimum of 5 years of experience in tax management, with a strong focus on tax planning, corporate tax, financial planning, and tax returns.
* Deep understanding of tax laws and regulations, both at the federal and state level.
* Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to handle complex tax issues.
* Strong leadership skills, with a proven track record of managing and developing a high-performing team.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to explain complex tax concepts in a clear and concise manner.
* Strong organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and meet tight deadlines.
* Proficiency in tax software and other relevant computer applications.
