Qualifications and Skills

  • Completion of high school education or equivalent
  • Bachelor's degree is advantageous
  • Graduation from an accredited program for Radiologic technologists
  • Certification from the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists
  • State licensure or certification is required
  • Understanding of human anatomy and physiology
  • Current CPR certification
  • Strong communication and documentation abilities

Key Responsibilities

  • Gather comprehensive patient medical histories
  • Conduct diagnostic x-ray examinations
  • Organize medical records for physician review
  • Uphold infection control protocols
  • Educate patients regarding their care
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of examination rooms
  • Facilitate prompt communication of diagnostic results
  • Ensure accurate documentation of all patient interactions
  • Engage in rotation for urgent care coverage
