Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Flight Paramedic to join our team of air transportation experts. As a Flight Paramedic, you will be responsible for safely transporting patients to and from medical facilities, as well as providing critical care services in emergency situations.

Responsibilities
  • Assess patient situations to determine the best course of action for critical care.
  • Utilize critical thinking skills to manage critically ill or injured patients and support physicians' orders.
  • Provide a safe, clean, and well-stocked aircraft environment, maintain regular equipment checks, and comply with safety standards and briefings.
  • Work collaboratively with air and ground teams, dispatch, flight crews, facilities, and partners to ensure effective patient care.
  • Share shift change information with transitioning teams and maintain accurate company and regulatory documentation and records.
  • Paramedics are accountable for maintaining required certifications and ongoing training for the position.
Qualifications
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in emergency or critical care settings.
  • Current EMT-P Certification/License for the state(s) the assigned base services.
  • American Heart Association (AHA) certifications of BLS, ACLS, PALS/PEPP/EPCPHTLS required prior to flight status.
  • PHNRP must be obtained within 3 months of hire.
  • FP-C must be obtained and maintained within 24 months from the month of hire.
