Job Title: Flight Paramedic

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Flight Paramedic to join our team at Air Evac Lifeteam. As a Flight Paramedic, you will be responsible for providing critical care to patients in emergency situations, working collaboratively with our team of air transportation experts to ensure safe and efficient patient transport.

Responsibilities:
  • Assess patient situations to determine the best course of action for critical care
  • Utilize critical thinking skills to manage critically ill or injured patients and support physicians' orders
  • Provide a safe, clean, and well-stocked aircraft environment, maintaining regular equipment and base checks, and complying with safety standards and briefings
  • Work collaboratively and effectively communicate with air and ground teams, dispatch, flight crews, facilities, and partners
  • Share shift change information to transitioning teams and follow protocols to maintain accurate company and regulatory documentation and records
  • Accountable for maintaining required certifications and ongoing training required for the position
Qualifications:
  • Required Experience and Education:
    • Minimum 3 years of experience in emergency or critical care setting
    • Maintains current EMT-P Certification/License for the state(s) the assigned base services
    • Current American Heart Association (AHA) certifications of BLS, ACLS, PALS/PEPP/EPC
    • PHTLS required prior to flight status
    • PHNRP must be obtained within 3 months of hire
    • FP-C must be obtained and maintained within 24 months from the month of hire
