Job Responsibilities

The Trauma Program Coordinator RN is responsible for the clinical aspects of the Trauma Program, ensuring efficient program operations and facilitating an interdisciplinary approach to trauma care.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate clinical activities and ensure the efficiency of the Trauma Program
  • Facilitate an interdisciplinary approach to trauma care
  • Participate in data collection and monitoring for performance improvement
  • Lead performance improvement efforts through concurrent patient review and project management
  • Maintain knowledge and skills necessary for trauma patient care

Requirements

Experience:

  • 5 years of nursing experience in a related area
  • 3 years of clinical experience in an Emergency Department or Trauma setting

Education:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Nursing
  • Master's Degree in Nursing (preferred)

Licensure/Certification:

  • Registered Nurse licensure
  • Basic Life Support certification
  • Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support certification (within 1 year of hire)

Work Schedule:

  • Monday-Friday, 40 hours per week
  • No weekend requirements
  • No call requirements
