Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Housekeeping Associate to join our team at Gold's Gym. As a Housekeeping Associate, you will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and sanitation of our gym facilities, including the gym floor, equipment, and locker rooms.

Responsibilities
  • Cleaning and Sanitation: Clean and sanitize all gym equipment, floors, and surfaces, including the gym floor, equipment, and locker rooms.
  • Trash and Recycling: Empty trash receptacles daily and ensure that all recycling is properly sorted and disposed of.
  • Floor Care: Sweep and mop floors, including stairwells and staircases, and clean carpets and floors as needed.
  • Lighting and Maintenance: Change light bulbs as necessary and perform routine maintenance tasks to ensure the smooth operation of our facilities.
  • Supply Management: Restock supplies, including cleaning products and paper goods, and maintain a clean and organized storage area.
  • Communication: Communicate effectively with gym staff and management to ensure that all cleaning and sanitation tasks are completed to a high standard.
Requirements
  • Experience: At least three (3) months experience in housekeeping or janitorial services and three (3) months customer service experience desired.
  • Education: High school diploma or general education degree (GED) preferred.
  • Skills: Excellent organization, interpersonal, and time management skills, with the ability to work collaboratively and autonomously.
