Job Summary

CVS Health is seeking a highly skilled Pharmacy Technician to join our team in a Sterile Compounding role. As a Pharmacy Technician, you will play a critical role in ensuring the safe and efficient preparation of sterile compounds for our patients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare and compound sterile medications in accordance with established procedures and regulations.
  • Operate and maintain complex equipment, including automated compounding systems.
  • Collaborate with pharmacists and other healthcare professionals to ensure accurate and timely preparation of medications.
  • Participate in quality control and quality assurance activities to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Develop and maintain a thorough understanding of sterile compounding procedures and regulations.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; associate's degree or higher preferred.
  • Pharmacy Technician certification (PTCB or ExCPT) required.
  • 1-2 years of experience in a pharmacy or sterile compounding environment preferred.
  • Strong understanding of sterile compounding procedures and regulations.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
