Key Responsibilities
  • Follow General Work Requirements for Factory, Shop, and Hanger roles.
  • Adhere to environmental health and safety policies and procedures, actively participating in 5-S initiatives.
  • Troubleshoot, repair, inspect, and maintain customer aircraft.
  • Remove and install aircraft components as necessary.
  • Fabricate or modify structural alterations on aircraft parts.
  • Conduct minor structural repairs on composite components, whether attached or detached.
  • Assist in performing hidden damage inspections of aircraft structures.
  • Support complex structural repairs, both on and off the aircraft.
  • Document work performed in accordance with relevant manuals and regulations.
  • Operate ground support equipment as required.
  • Assist with the repair of aircraft components.
  • Carry out mechanical and electrical removals and installations as needed.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.
Qualifications
  • Minimum of 10 years of experience in structural sheet metal repair or modification, or equivalent experience.
  • Completion of Sheet Metal A/C Technician school or equivalent training.
  • Proficient in interpreting and working with mechanical engineering drawings.
  • Possession of A Certification, A & P Certificate, or Repairman Certificate (Commercial Only).
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, regarding individual and aircraft status.
  • Ownership of a basic set of hand tools, with demonstrated inventory and control of tools.
  • Ability to obtain necessary Ground Support Equipment Qualifications.
  • Willingness to work unscheduled overtime, including non-scheduled workdays and holidays.
  • Capability to work outdoors in seasonal or inclement weather.
  • Eligibility to obtain a Security Identification Display Area badge (SIDA), if applicable.
  • Basic computer skills.
