Position: Insurance Account Service Representative
Zurich 56 Company Ltd is seeking an Insurance Account Service Representative to become a vital part of our Excess & Surplus team. In this role, you will collaborate closely with seasoned Underwriters to assist in the evaluation and analysis of various risks.

Work Arrangement: This is a hybrid work position, allowing flexibility while requiring occasional in-office presence.


Key Responsibilities:

1. Conduct thorough reviews and evaluations of risk exposures, controls, loss history, and financial conditions to support underwriting decisions regarding submission acceptance or rejection.

2. Adhere to Underwriters' instructions in areas such as policy rating, subjective pricing, policy construction, coverages & exclusions, and mandatory forms to ensure accurate quoting and policy issuance.

3. Provide comprehensive account servicing support in partnership with Underwriters and Managers, overseeing the end-to-end servicing processes for new business, renewals, and endorsements for basic to moderately complex business and products.

4. Respond promptly and appropriately to written and verbal inquiries under the close supervision of Underwriters and/or Managers.

5. Assist Underwriters in interactions with brokers, agents, distributors, and customers by delivering essential customer service skills.


Basic Qualifications:
1. Bachelor's degree with no prior experience in Administrative, Customer Service, Financial Services, Risk Management, or Insurance fields.
2. Alternatively, completion of Zurich Certified Insurance Apprentice program, including an Associate Degree with no prior experience in the aforementioned areas.
3. High School Diploma or Equivalent with at least 2 years of experience in Administrative, Customer Service, Financial Services, Risk Management, or Insurance sectors.
4. Proficiency in data collection and analysis.
Preferred Qualifications:
1. Familiarity with the insurance industry.
2. Knowledge of processing, rating, and policy management systems utilized in the insurance sector.
3. Strong verbal and written communication skills.
4. Excellent relationship-building skills and active listening capabilities with customers and colleagues.
5. Attention to detail and the ability to provide accurate data in a timely manner.
