Job Overview

Blanchard Equipment Company, Inc is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Sales Representative to join our team. As a Sales Representative, you will be responsible for selling new and used agricultural and turf equipment to new and existing customers in a defined sales area.

Key Responsibilities
  • Sales and Marketing: Represent the company for the sale of machinery to customers, maintaining current product knowledge on features and benefits of all equipment potentially saleable by the dealership.
  • Customer Relationship Management: Monitor competitive activity/products and timely communicate to management, maintain all customer information in assigned territory for sales management, and know and follow a defined sales process.
  • Business Development: Assist with the preparation and execution of customer events, conduct new equipment field demonstrations, and monitor trends in customer's business activities and timely communicate to management.
  • Product Knowledge: Maintain current knowledge of financing options to assist customers with securing the purchase of new and used goods, and may maintain current knowledge of used equipment values and ability to evaluate properly for trading purposes.
  • Team Collaboration: Work with other location and company departments to promote all product offerings and services.
Requirements
  • 1+ years equipment sales experience
  • Knowledge of agricultural or turf equipment and farming or operational practices preferred
  • Ability to use standard desktop load applications such as Microsoft Office and internet functions
  • Ability to work flexible hours
  • Excellent customer relationship skills
  • Ability to analyze and interpret basic sales reports
  • High School Diploma or equivalent work experience
