Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Mammography & Dexa Technologist to join our team. The ideal candidate will have excellent patient communication skills, be able to work independently with minimal supervision, and possess a strong knowledge of mammography and dexa imaging procedures.

Key Responsibilities

  • Patient Care: Screens patients before exams for any precautions or contradictions, explains procedures to patients, and prepares them for exams.
  • Mammography and Dexa Imaging: Performs routine and advanced imaging procedures on designated portions of the body, adjusts scan parameters as needed, and maintains accurate records within the Radiology Information System (RIS).
  • Department Support: Assists with maintaining an updated imaging protocol manual, monitors medical supply inventory, and provides training to new associates.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Radiologic Sciences or related field;
  • American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) certification in Mammography;
  • 1+ years of experience in mammography and/or dexa imaging;
  • Excellent patient communication and interpersonal skills;
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision;
  • Knowledge of mammography and dexa imaging procedures and equipment.
