Comprehensive Youth Services is a leading provider of transitional living services for youth in Michigan. We are seeking a skilled Residential Advocate to join our team. The ideal candidate will have at least 5 years of experience working with adolescents in a residential setting and possess excellent communication and multitasking skills.

About the Position
This is a full-time position, requiring a mix of day, evening, midnight shifts, weekends, and some holiday hours. The successful candidate will be responsible for assisting residents with daily routines, facilitating house meetings, and participating in weekly service plan meetings. Additionally, they will help with obtaining necessary documents and education plans, and ensure health, fire, and safety regulations are observed. A salary of $52,000 - $62,000 per year is offered, based on experience and education.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist residents with daily routines, including hygiene, self-care, planning schedules, and teaching daily living skills.
  • Facilitate house meetings and participate in weekly service plan meetings with residents.
  • Help with obtaining necessary documents and education plans.
  • Data entry in the HMIS (Homeless Management Information System).
  • Ensure health, fire, and safety regulations are observed, and attend to residents' medical and safety needs.
