Key Responsibilities

The Asset Management Associate will be the main contact for PV power plant day-to-day management. Key responsibilities include:

  • Management of Operation and Maintenance (O&M), Loan, Equity, Security, and other contracts related to the projects.
  • Preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual reports to be submitted to investors and lenders.
  • Budget/forecast/actual analysis, DSCR calculation, distribution calculation.
  • Requesting approval from investors and lenders for unscheduled maintenance.
  • Responsibility for warranty and insurance claims related to the projects.
  • Communication with utility companies, government authorities, local cities/prefectures, communities, landowners, etc.
  • Management of permits and other legal requirements during the operation of the plants.
  • Analysis of how to maximize production and improve power plant performance.
  • Management of engineering and Energy Yield Analysis reports related to the project.
  • Coordination with accounting/tax firms, auditors, property managers, etc.
  • Support for senior management and other team members for ad-hoc reporting requests.

Requirements

The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 3 years of prior experience in asset management of real estate funds/renewable energy companies or 3 years of prior experience in project financing of financial institutions. The candidate should have a strong sense of responsibility and commitment to the company's business. A team player with the ability to effectively interact with other team members is essential. Interest in the solar industry and a willingness to learn are also required. A bachelor's degree (MBA or engineering is a plus) is preferred.
