Job Summary
Gentiva is seeking a compassionate Registered Nurse to join our team as a Hospice Nurse for weekend shifts. This role will involve assessing patients and families, explaining Gentiva's services, and admitting eligible patients to our hospice program.

We are looking for an experienced RN with a strong commitment to providing high-quality care to patients in their homes or hospitals. As a member of our team, you will be responsible for:
  • Conducting comprehensive assessments of patients and families to determine eligibility for Gentiva's services
  • Explaining the benefits and features of our hospice program to patients and families
  • Monitoring patient conditions and updating care plans as needed
  • Participating in evening/weekend on-call as required
The ideal candidate will have a current RN license in the state where the program is located, a Bachelor's Degree, and C.H.P.N. certification preferred. We also offer a competitive salary, mileage reimbursement, and opportunities for professional growth and development.
