Finance Associate

Become a key player in Brex's financial planning and analysis team, driving business growth and strategic decision-making.

About the Role

As a Finance Associate, you will be responsible for leading our monthly management reporting process, delivering key performance indicators and business opportunities directly to our Executive Leadership team. You will also contribute to building, improving, and maintaining our Financial Planning System, participating in budgeting, forecasting, and headcount planning processes, and providing analytical support for all financing-related activities.

Responsibilities
  • Own and manage our monthly management reporting process, ensuring timely and accurate delivery to our Executive Leadership team.
  • Review, analyze, confirm, and report on portfolio-level and corporate financial results, as well as operating performance metrics.
  • Contribute to the development and maintenance of our Financial Planning System, ensuring it meets the needs of the business.
  • Participate in budgeting, forecasting, and headcount planning processes, providing financial insights and recommendations.
  • Provide analytical support for all financing-related activities, including Excel modeling, report generation, and coordination with teams across the organization.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Economics, Finance, Business, or related field.
  • 2+ years of Corporate Finance, Accounting, or Investment Banking experience.
  • High Excel proficiency; Financial Planning Systems and Looker experience are a plus.
  • Comfortable interacting with internal and external senior-level executives.
  • Strong communication, teamwork, quantitative, and analytical skills.
  • A creative curiosity, collaborative ethic, hardworking enthusiasm, and driving personal vision.
  • A penchant for multi-tasking and self-starting.
Compensation

The expected salary range for this role is $108,480 - $135,600. However, the starting base pay will depend on a number of factors including the candidate's location, skills, experience, market demands, and internal pay parity. Depending on the position offered, equity and other forms of compensation may be provided as part of a total compensation package.
