Soliant is partnering with a school district in North Carolina to find a dedicated educator for the 2024/2025 school year.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) for students with special needs.
  • Provide direct instruction and support in academic subjects, social skills, and life skills development.
  • Differentiate instruction to meet the diverse learning needs of students.
  • Collaborate with general education teachers, support staff, and parents to monitor student progress and adjust instructional strategies as needed.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of student progress and behavior.
  • Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment that promotes student engagement and success.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Special Education or related field (Master's degree preferred).
  • Valid North Carolina teaching license in Special Education.
  • Previous experience working with students with special needs preferred.
  • Knowledge of evidence-based instructional strategies and interventions for students with diverse learning needs.
