Job Title: Preschool Teacher

Ciditty Kiddie is seeking a highly qualified and certified Preschool Teacher to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for creating a nurturing, engaging, and educational environment that supports the development of children aged 3-5 years.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Curriculum Development & Implementation: Design and deliver a developmentally appropriate curriculum that aligns with early childhood education standards and meets the individual needs of each child. Incorporate a variety of teaching methods to support different learning styles.
  • Certified Instruction: Apply certified teaching strategies and techniques to promote learning in key developmental areas, including literacy, numeracy, motor skills, and social-emotional development.
  • Classroom Management: Establish and maintain a positive, safe, and organized classroom environment. Implement effective classroom management techniques that encourage cooperative learning and positive behavior.
  • Child Observation & Assessment: Regularly observe, assess, and document children's progress using standardized assessment tools. Tailor instruction to meet the needs of each child, providing additional support or enrichment as necessary.
  • Parent & Guardian Communication: Maintain open, ongoing communication with parents/guardians regarding their child's development, classroom activities, and any concerns. Conduct parent-teacher conferences and provide regular progress reports.
  • Professional Development: Engage in continuous professional growth by participating in workshops, training sessions, and other professional development opportunities to stay current with best practices in early childhood education.
  • Health & Safety: Ensure the safety and well-being of all children by following health, safety, and hygiene guidelines. Maintain a clean and organized learning environment.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education, Child Development, or a related field.
  • Valid Early Childhood Education (ECE) Certification.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience teaching preschool-aged children.
  • Comprehensive understanding of child development and age-appropriate teaching practices.
  • Strong communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to create an inclusive and supportive classroom environment that respects and values diversity.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience working with children with special needs or diverse backgrounds.
  • Familiarity with early childhood education technology and assessment tools.
  • Bilingual abilities (depending on community needs).
Physical Requirements:
  • Ability to lift and carry children when necessary.
  • Frequent bending, stooping, and engaging in activities on the floor.
  • Capability to participate in outdoor activities, including playground supervision.
