Early Childhood Education Director

As a Lead Infant Teacher at EJJ Holdings LLC, you will be responsible for planning and directing the operations of an assigned classroom to ensure the Celebree mission, vision, and values are upheld. You will provide a developmentally age-appropriate learning environment for children and support the classroom aide.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage the classroom to ensure compliance with all Child Care regulations and company standards, policies, and procedures.
- Provide a welcoming and friendly classroom environment for all children, parents, and visitors.
- Maintain attractive and current classroom/hallway displays and an educational and informative Parent Board.
- Create and implement thorough, timely lesson plans that are age-appropriate and stimulating in accordance with Celebree's curriculum.
- Manage effective classroom transitions and assist and supervise children during all activities.
- Ensure the appearance, cleanliness, and safe environment of the classroom are maintained.
- Accurately complete all paperwork, electronic reports, supervision records, and attendance.
- Attend all team meetings, trainings, and School events as requested.
- Provide support and direction to Aides to ensure the classroom functions in an orderly manner.
- Provide development, coaching, and training to support Aide development.
- Present a positive and professional image, adhering to uniform requirements.
- Communicate effectively with parents, including greeting by name, addressing concerns in a timely manner, giving positive feedback, and providing regular updates on their child's development and classroom happenings.
- Maintain open and effective communication with Management.
- Identify opportunities and/or problems in the classroom/School and work with coworkers and Directors to resolve.
- Maintain all mandatory certification requirements.
- Maintain confidentiality regarding families, co-workers, and self.
- Maintain regular and satisfactory attendance at all times, limiting absences.
- Perform face-to-name counts every 30 minutes and upon transitions.
Physical Demands:
The physical demands are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of the job. The job requires frequent bending, stooping, squatting, reaching, lifting, and carrying; ability to lift 50 pounds.
Education/Experience:
Must meet all Teacher requirements per State regulations.
Specific Skills:
Certification in CPR & First Aid. Computer skills, familiar with educational software and curriculum.
