About Decision Point:

Decision Point is a faith-based non-profit organization dedicated to empowering middle and high school students to establish Christian clubs within their educational institutions. Our mission is to equip Student Leaders to share the gospel in public schools through personal witness, weekly Bible studies, and campus-wide outreach initiatives. We aim to cultivate a student-led movement supported by local churches, fostering a revival of Christ's love in every public school.

In addition to on-campus efforts, we recognize the importance of reaching students in the digital realm. With the pervasive influence of social media and technology, we strive to illuminate the path to Christ for students navigating these challenges.

Role Description:

We are seeking passionate individuals with a servant's heart to contribute to our online recruitment and student onboarding efforts. As a Christian Student Engagement Intern, you will play a vital role in guiding interested students who discover Decision Point through various channels. Your efforts will help transition students from awareness to action, enabling them to actively participate in reaching their schools with the gospel.

Supervision:

Interns will report to a dedicated Decision Point staff member who will provide mentorship and support in personal leadership and ministry engagement. Each intern will also have a direct supervisor overseeing their development.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct one-on-one meetings to discuss next steps with interested students.
  • Familiarize yourself with Decision Point's training resources to assist students effectively.
  • Respond to student inquiries through a designated communication platform.
  • Facilitate training webinars for students.
  • Engage with parents to introduce them to Decision Point.
  • Support the Online Coaching Director with various tasks and projects.

Qualifications:

  • Availability for a minimum of 15 hours per week.
  • Strong attention to detail.
  • A genuine passion for engagement, connection, and faith.
  • Flexibility to work afternoons and evenings is preferred.

This internship offers a unique opportunity to assist students in sharing the gospel while gaining valuable insights into Decision Point's mission and operations. Interns will engage in hands-on training covering leadership, evangelism, and essential organizational functions. Collaborative projects with fellow interns will foster community and teamwork, enhancing the overall experience.

Compensation and Support:

This is a part-time, hourly paid position. Interns will be encouraged to build a personal support network to sustain their ministry efforts, including prayer and financial contributions. All team members, including interns, participate in support-raising activities to further the mission of Decision Point.
