Assistant General Manager Job Description

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Assistant General Manager to join our team at Jamba. As a key member of our store leadership team, you will be responsible for driving sales performance, delivering exceptional guest experiences, and executing brand excellence in our stores.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead store-level operations, including team member leadership and development, sales performance, and customer service.
  • Assist in the growth of annual sales and profit of the store.
  • Effectively manage the store's appearance and team member performance to meet company standards.
  • Develop and implement strategies to consistently educate and engage the community and store guests on all of Jamba's products and services.

Requirements:

  • Self-discipline, strong initiative, leadership ability, and outgoing personality.
  • Pleasant, polite manner with a neat, clean appearance.
  • Effective motivator with strong communication skills.
  • Ability to handle pressures of coordinating multiple activities and team members to ensure 100% guest satisfaction.
  • Minimum 1 year in a supervisory role.
  • Ability to stand, bend, reach, scoop, and regularly lift 30-40 lbs throughout assigned shift.
  • Comfortable working in temperatures ranging from 40° F to -10° F (walk-in cooler & freezer).
  • High School diploma; some college, a plus.
  • Computer literate and web-savvy.
  • ServSafe certified, a plus.
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel & Outlook).
  • Must be eligible to work in The United States.
  • Must agree to a background check.
