Job Title: Registered Nurse - ICU

Cleveland Clinic's Euclid Hospital is seeking a skilled Registered Nurse to join our Intensive Care Unit (ICU) team. As a critical care nurse, you will provide high-quality patient care to adult to mature adult patients with major medical, cardiac, and surgical diagnoses.

Responsibilities:
  • Provide direct nursing care to patients in the ICU
  • Implement, monitor, evaluate, update, and revise patient care plans
  • Monitor, record, document, and communicate patients' conditions
  • Administer prescribed medications and treatments
  • Note and carry out physician and nursing orders
  • Assess and coordinate patients' discharge needs
  • Educate patients and their families
Requirements:
  • Graduate from an accredited school of professional nursing
  • Current state licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN)
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification through the American Heart Association (AHA)
  • One year of current acute care RN experience
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN)
  • Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification through the American Heart Association (AHA) upon or within one year of hire
Physical Requirements:

This role requires full range of body motion, including handling and lifting patients, manual and finger dexterity, and eye-hand coordination. The caregiver must be able to stand and walk for extended periods, have corrected vision and hearing, and work under stressful conditions and irregular hours.

This position involves exposure to communicable diseases and/or body fluids. The caregiver must be able to exert 20 to 50 pounds of force occasionally, and/or 10 to 25 pounds of force frequently, and/or greater than negligible up to 10 pounds of force constantly to move objects.

Personal Protective Equipment:

The caregiver will follow standard precautions using personal protective equipment as required.
