Plasma Center Nurse

At BioLife Plasma Services, we are committed to providing a safe and healthy environment for our donors. As a Medical Support Specialist, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the well-being of our donors and the quality of the plasma we collect.
Key Responsibilities:- Determine donor eligibility to donate plasma, including proper management of informed consent, AIDS education, and confidential self-exclusion.
- Conduct medical history interviews and physical examinations to assess donor suitability.
- Review laboratory test results and notify donors of unsuitable test results.
- Manage donor adverse events and provide medical support as needed.
- Collaborate with the Center Physician and Medical Affairs to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and company policies.
- Currently licensed or certified in the state where responsibilities will be assigned: LPN or LVN.
- Current Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) and AED certification.
- Fulfill state requirements (in state of licensure) for basic IV therapy.
- Satisfactorily complete the FDA approved training requirements for BioLife Medical Support Specialist.
