Job Summary

As a key member of the Sysco team, the Accounts Receivable Manager will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth operation of our financial processes. This position will be responsible for managing the cash application process, ensuring all cash receipts are applied correctly, and overseeing the management of employee accounts and intra-company accounts.

Responsibilities

  • Ensure accurate and timely application of all deposits, including customer, driver, will-call, mail, and ACH pushes.
  • Collaborate with the Credit Department to resolve customer account discrepancies.
  • Manage and reconcile intercompany, VNC/CNV, and cash-related transactions.
  • Oversee the document imaging process to ensure efficient and secure storage of financial documents.
  • Manage electronic credits and ensure compliance with company policies and procedures.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Seven or more years of accounting experience, with a strong background in generally accepted accounting principles and accounting software.

Professional Skills

  • Strong computer skills, including proficiency in business solutions software.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively communicate with accountants, vendors, and upper management.
  • Strong planning and organizational skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
