Job Summary

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Part-Time Care Assistant to join our team at Oakmont of Santa Clarita. As a valued member of our community, you will play a vital role in enhancing the quality of life for our residents.

Responsibilities
  • Provide personal assistance and daily care services to residents, promoting their independence and well-being.
  • Assist residents with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs), including eating, bathing, dressing, toileting, transferring, and continence.
  • Respond promptly to resident needs, maintaining their self-respect, dignity, safety, and confidentiality.
  • Maintain a safe and secure environment for all staff, residents, and guests, adhering to established safety standards.
Requirements
  • A minimum of 18 years of age.
  • A High School Diploma or GED.
  • Excellent customer service skills and a strong desire to work with the elderly.
  • Possess written and verbal skills to interact effectively with employees, supervisors, physicians, healthcare professionals, residents, and their families.
