Role Overview

As a Licensed Veterinary Technician at Thrive Pet Healthcare, you will be an integral part of our team, working closely with veterinarians to provide exceptional care to pets and their families. Your passion for animal care, combined with your technical skills, will make you a valuable asset to our clinic.

Key Responsibilities

• Support veterinarians in ensuring quality veterinary care and advocating for pets
• Assist with surgeries and procedures, maintaining a clean and sterile environment
• Monitor and assess patient status, collecting blood and other samples for testing
• Communicate with clients about individualized pet health concerns and offer guidance on Thrive Membership options
• Maintain accurate and comprehensive medical records, utilizing practice systems

Requirements

• Veterinary technician licensure required
• 1-2 years of clinical experience
• Associate's or Bachelor's degree from an AVMA-accredited veterinary technology program preferred
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds, squatting, reaching, standing, and walking throughout the day
