As a key member of our grocery department, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, maintaining a clean and organized store environment, and supporting the sales floor team in achieving sales goals.
Key Responsibilities- Provide excellent customer service by greeting customers, answering questions, and resolving issues in a timely and professional manner.
- Maintain a clean and organized store environment by restocking shelves, facing merchandise, and keeping the sales floor tidy.
- Support the sales floor team by assisting with sales promotions, processing transactions, and maintaining accurate inventory levels.
- Operate cash registers, process transactions, and handle customer payments in a timely and accurate manner.
- Participate in visual merchandising and store displays to create an attractive and engaging shopping environment.
- Collaborate with the sales floor team to achieve sales goals and meet customer needs.
- Perform other duties as assigned by management to support the overall success of the store.
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Previous retail or customer service experience preferred.
- Ability to work a variety of shifts, including mornings, afternoons, evenings, and weekends.
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for long periods of time.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing situations.
