Key Responsibilities- Program Promotion and Coordination
- Conduct workshops, webinars, and training events to promote the program and provide coordination of program services.
- Provide high-level analysis and recommendations working with small business owners.
- Liaison and Support
- Serve as a liaison to constituencies addressing program needs.
- Collaborate with others and provide professional-level staff support and program representation to clients and partners.
- Program Administration
- Maintain detailed program records, documents, financial reports, business plans, and related program communication materials.
- Bachelor's degree or higher in business, communications, social service, teaching, or a related field.
- Minimum 3 years of experience providing direct services to the small business community.
- Knowledge of business structures and ownership types, including veteran-, women-, and minority-owned business issues.
- Knowledge of federal, state, and local resources for business.
- Ability to coordinate program services, seminars, and conversations on topics related to small business management and ownership.
- Demonstrated experience in completing multiple projects amid competing requests according to established strategic plan objectives, goals, and targets.
- Proficiency in MS Office - Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Adobe; online platforms.
