Job Title: End User Computing / Desktop Support Engineer

Hello, we are seeking a skilled End User Computing / Desktop Support Engineer to join our team at Saxon Global. We are a leading provider of IT services and solutions, and we are looking for a talented individual to support our clients in the Denver, Colorado area.

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced End User Computing / Desktop Support Engineer to provide technical support and services to our clients. The successful candidate will have a strong background in Windows operating systems, ITIL processes, and IT service management. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, be able to work independently, and have a strong attention to detail.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide technical support and services to clients, including troubleshooting and resolving technical issues.
  • Implement and maintain ITIL processes, including incident management, service request fulfillment, and problem management.
  • Work with ServiceNow and other ITSM tools to manage and track technical issues.
  • Coordinate with OEMs, such as Dell and HP, for repairs and maintenance.
  • Support asset management and imaging teams to complete deliverables.
  • Utilize remote tools to provide technical support and services.
  • Experience with MAC and Windows Server infrastructure and roles, including AD, DHCP, DNS, DFS, CA, etc.
  • Experience troubleshooting remote access tools and general connectivity issues.
  • Experience with video conferencing solutions, SharePoint administration, Exchange, and Office365 Enterprise licensing.
  • Experience with Hyperconverged Infrastructure, Public Cloud Computing, and Virtual Desktop Infrastructure.
  • Ability to demonstrate strong knowledge and experience supporting Microsoft Windows Server/Desktop and Linux operating systems.
  • Technical professional certifications, including ITIL, SANS, MSFT, CISCO, VMware, are a plus.

Requirements:

  • Minimum of 2-5 years of experience in EUC and L2 services, with strong Windows knowledge and hands-on experience with Windows 10/7 OS and Virtual Desktop Knowledge.
  • HP Certified and understanding of ITIL processes, including Incident Management, Service Request Fulfillment, and Problem Management.
  • Experience working with ServiceNow and other ITSM tools, and understanding of best practices for recording customer transactions in incident/request ticket worklogs.
  • Ability to follow incident and service request processes, and other work processes as provided by Operations Manager.
  • Provides support as trained, defined, instructed, and managed by Ops Manager.
