Key Responsibilities- New Business Development: Identify and pursue new business opportunities to drive revenue growth and expand our customer base.
- Customer Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with existing customers to ensure quality, value, and responsiveness.
- Market Research and Analysis: Conduct market research and analysis to identify trends, opportunities, and challenges in the water treatment industry.
- Marketing Strategy Development: Develop and implement marketing plans and strategies to promote our products and services to target markets.
- Business Planning and Strategy: Develop and propose changes to our strategic business plan to ensure positioning for long-term growth and success.
- Communication and Reporting: Clearly communicate the progress of monthly and quarterly initiatives to internal and external stakeholders.
- Customer Support and Service: Serve as the lead point of contact for all customer account management matters, including technical support, field testing, optimization, pricing, and other customer-related issues.
- Contract and Bid Analysis: Read, analyze, and interpret contracts, bids, general business periodicals, professional journals, and technical procedures.
- Forecasting and Tracking: Forecast and track key account metrics, such as quarterly sales results and annual forecasts.
- Reporting and Correspondence: Compose reports and business correspondence to stakeholders.
- Education: Bachelor's degree from a four-year college or university.
- Technical Skills: Knowledge of appropriate software, including Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook, Microsoft PowerPoint, Adobe Acrobat, and CRM software.
- Interpersonal and Analytical Skills: Strong interpersonal, analytical, and English communication skills.
- Problem-Solving and Prioritization: Ability to problem-solve quickly and prioritize tasks according to their importance.
- Work Experience: Proven work experience as an Account Manager, Key Account Manager, Sales Account Manager, or relevant role.
- Industry Experience: 3 years of successful experience in an industrial and/or technical outside sales role.
- Driver's License: Valid driver's license.
- Travel Requirements: Regular visits to customers are required.
- Work Environment: Environment primarily includes indoor work.
- Physical Requirements: Physical requirements include standing, sitting, stooping, reaching, bending, and typing.
- Work Schedule: Workdays are Monday to Friday, with weekend work as needed.
