Job SummaryThe Lead Caregiver - Senior Living Community Manager role is an exciting opportunity to lead by example and make a meaningful difference in the lives of our residents. As a key member of our team, you'll be responsible for ensuring the delivery of quality care and services, fostering a positive work environment, and promoting resident engagement.
We're seeking a compassionate, experienced, and results-driven professional who can excel in this challenging yet rewarding role.
Key Responsibilities:- Provide supervisory support to Care Managers, ensuring attendance, managing call-offs, and responding to shift requests
- Support Care Managers in providing Activities of Daily Living (ADL) care and services to residents, including bathing, grooming, personal hygiene, and escorting
- Encourage resident participation in life enrichment programming and ADLs
- Assist with meal service, coaching team members on hospitality standards
- Accurately document care and services provided, reviewing and improving documentation processes
- Ensure compliance with Sunrise's Timekeeping and Meal/Rest Period policies
- Display flexibility in work schedule, working holidays, evenings, weekends, and additional shifts as needed
- High School diploma or equivalent required; certification(s) may be necessary per state regulations
- Excellent communication, problem-solving, and leadership skills
- Prior experience working with seniors and a desire to serve and care for them
- Medication Management Certificate required; ongoing training and re-education essential
