About the Position

Columbia Sportswear is seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused Seasonal Part-Time Footwear Sales Associate to join our team. As a key member of our sales floor team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, maintaining a high level of product knowledge, and driving sales growth in our footwear department.

Key Responsibilities
  • Customer Service: Respond to customer inquiries, provide product recommendations, and ensure a positive shopping experience.
  • Product Knowledge: Stay up-to-date on product features, benefits, and availability to effectively communicate with customers.
  • Sales Floor Maintenance: Maintain a clean and organized sales floor, including visual merchandising and inventory management.
  • Cash Handling: Process sales transactions accurately and efficiently, including handling returns and exchanges.
  • Inventory Management: Assist with receiving, stocking, and processing inventory to ensure accurate and efficient product flow.
Requirements
  • Education: High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
  • Experience: 2 years or less of retail sales experience, preferably in a footwear department.
  • Skillset: Basic computer skills, including operating a point-of-sale system and other in-store technology.
Work Environment

This is a fast-paced retail environment that requires frequent movement and the ability to lift up to 40 pounds. You must be able to work a flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays, and be available to work a variety of shifts.
