About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Landscape Designer to join our team at AMT Engineering. As a key member of our multidisciplinary firm, you will be responsible for developing conceptual designs, preparing studies and reports, and collaborating with our in-house project teams.

Responsibilities
  • Develop visually appealing and informative graphics as part of project communications and proposal and marketing pursuits
  • Conduct project site visits to verify construction activities, gather data, coordinate with project team, and to inspect materials
  • Assist with field investigation and reporting on integrated roadside vegetation management, forest mitigation, critical area mitigation, wetland mitigation, and storm water management facilities
  • Prepare studies and reports, and research and evaluate sustainable and resiliency practices
  • Collaborate with an interdisciplinary in-house project teams of civil engineers, planners, transportation engineers, water resource engineers, surveyors, and construction inspection specialists
Requirements
  • Bachelors or Masters Degree in Landscape Architecture from an accredited university
  • 1-4 years' experience in landscape architecture
  • Experience with VA and MD codes and guidelines for design
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD
  • Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign)
  • Experience in Sketch-Up, Revit or other 3D modelling software
  • Experience with ArcGIS
