Reporting Structure
This position reports to the Finance Analyst.
Key Responsibilities
The Stock Management Specialist plays a vital role in production through established inventory protocols. Responsibilities include:
- Conducting accurate and timely inventory transactions
- Ensuring precise physical counts and performing reconciliations
- Receiving, counting, and storing production stock items while maintaining accurate records
- Performing audits of backflush locations
- Comparing actual physical counts with recorded inventory and executing necessary recounts
- Investigating discrepancies, determining their causes, and recommending procedural changes
Qualifications
- High School diploma or GED is required
- Basic computer proficiency is necessary for essential tasks
- Familiarity with Microsoft Office applications
- Previous experience in a manufacturing environment is preferred
- Ability to lift up to 40 lbs and perform push/pull tasks
- Willingness to work overtime to meet business objectives
- Availability to work weekends as required
