Job Title: Project Architect

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Project Architect to join our team at Wood plc. As a Project Architect, you will be responsible for leading architectural projects from concept to completion, ensuring that they are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead architectural projects from concept to completion, ensuring that they are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.
  • Develop and implement project plans, timelines, and budgets, and ensure that they are aligned with the company's strategic objectives.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including project managers, engineers, and contractors, to ensure that projects are delivered efficiently and effectively.
  • Provide technical guidance and support to project teams, ensuring that they have the necessary skills and expertise to deliver projects to the required standards.
  • Ensure that all projects are delivered in accordance with relevant laws, regulations, and industry standards.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with clients, stakeholders, and partners, ensuring that their needs are met and that they are satisfied with the services provided.
  • Identify and mitigate risks, and develop contingency plans to ensure that projects are delivered on time and within budget.
  • Monitor and report on project progress, identifying areas for improvement and implementing changes as necessary.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor of Arts in Architecture (5-year program) or Master of Architecture.
  • Minimum 8 years of related experience.
  • NCARB certification is preferred.
  • Home state professional architect registration is required.
  • Project management experience is preferred.
  • Permitting experience is preferred.
  • Working knowledge with the latest releases of architectural software, including Revit, AutoCAD, Navisworks, BIM 360, Bluebeam Revu, and Microsoft Office Applications.
