Duties & Responsibilities of the AT&T Wireless Retail Store Supervisor:

  • Oversee daily operations of an AT&T Authorized Retail Store.
  • Achieve sales targets and service performance metrics.
  • Promote a positive store culture for both employees and customers.
  • Maintain appropriate inventory levels and manage inventory and cash shrinkage.
  • Recruit, train, and develop high-performing Sales Advocates.
  • Enforce company policies and procedures with Sales Advocates.
  • Conduct weekly staff meetings to enhance sales and product knowledge.
  • Ensure compliance with AT&T and company merchandising standards.
  • Be flexible to work in various locations as business needs arise.
  • Maintain a strong understanding of all products, pricing plans, promotions, and service features.
  • Stay informed about competitive offers and provide market feedback to the Area Sales Leader.
  • Deliver an exceptional customer experience.
  • Regularly report to work on-site in a timely manner.
  • Work evenings, weekends, and/or holidays as per the approved schedule.
  • Store Supervisors typically work 40 hours per week, averaging 8 hours per day.

Qualifications for the AT&T Wireless Retail Store Supervisor:

  • Minimum of two years of retail wireless management experience.
  • Three or more years of sales and/or customer service experience in telecommunications or a related field, with a proven track record of meeting sales quotas.
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication, and leadership skills.
  • Ability to effectively use and teach others about wireless technology and services.
  • Thrives in a fast-paced and competitive environment.
  • Strong planning, analytical, and problem-solving abilities.
  • Familiarity with wireless terminology, industry trends, and retail systems.
  • Ability to collaborate with key stakeholders on initiatives beyond the store.
